I
first began practicing yoga in 1985 while studying for a
degree in Performing Arts. After living in
California for many years
I initially
trained to teach Ashtanga yoga in San Francisco and went on to take
additional teacher trainings such as Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Shiva Rea
and Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater. I went on to study Pilates at
Pilates Performance at The Royal Academy of Dance in London, where I
later complete my Body Arts and Science Pilates Matwork teacher
training.
Since
2001, I have taught classes in California
and London and yoga holidays in France, Spain and Germany. A keen marathon runner, I have led Yoga for
Runners workshops
at Triyoga, London since 2003 and at the London Yoga Show, Olympia
since 2005.
I've been featured in
and written articles for
a number of national newspapers and magazines, which may be viewed on
the "Press" page of this site. I am a member of Yoga Alliance UK and the Register of Exercise Professionals.
I live in
London with my husband and young son and enjoy practicing and
teaching yoga, Pilates or going for a run (almost!) every day.
